The main purpose of Curse is to serve the specific communication needs of online gamers. It is an excellent solution for chatting with other people, while playing an online game, in a comfortable and convenient way. It looks and feels somewhat like a traditional VoIP application, but the special features it brings to the table make it ideal for gamers, even while they are not playing.

The software is absolutely free and you can have it up and running in no time, on any modern Windows platform. Apart from a working Internet connection and an online account, there are no special requirements you have to meet. If your computer is capable of running a modern online game, then you can be sure it can run Curse.

The user interface presents a series of tiles on its home screen, which allow you to start or join a voice conference, view your game identities, find friends and more. You can find friends just by typing their name in an input field. A conference can be started with a single click. Furthermore, once a conference is started, you can invite other people to join, by simply dragging and dropping their contacts list entries over the chat area or by sending them an invite link.

The in-game overlay is one of the main advantages you can enjoy, especially when you play a game with a large group. The application will display floating box on your screen while you are playing a game, which lets you know which person is talking. Also, Curse provides you with more than just one push-to-talk option. Another advantage is the fact that it enables you to keep track of your friends, based on the games you play with them.

When it comes to communicating in an online game, Curse can make everything easier and more convenient.

Pros

The software provides an in-game overlay, to let you know who is talking. It lets you keep track of friends, based on the games you play with them. Its controls are well organized, comfortable and easy to master.

Cons

There are no obvious issues to mention.
